This paper focuses on exploring possibilities for the future development of online courses at university level. The working model an course Italian Medieval culture and art will be analyzed, possible directions further research determined. work present phases cross-curricular prototype. study explores existing e-learning design strategies that enhance intrinsic motivation engagement. It also offers solutions optimizing language learning with appropriate convenient interventions. author presents a number grammar structures in represented prototype detailed description lesson structure, logic behind their order, examples creative assignments. authors determined connection between tasks game elements as well choice plot key characters. formulates implementing layered storyline mechanisms to create more personalized engaging experience.
